Effective Date: June 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is handled in PillCheck: Tracker & Reminder (the "App"). We believe in absolute data sovereignty; your sensitive medical logs and routines belong strictly to you and stay entirely under your control.
The App operates as a standalone utility. All schedules, medication names, dosages, and historical tracking logs entered into the App for native push notifications and interactive home screen widgets are saved locally on your device's private storage.
To support development and handle secure transactions, the App communicates with third-party service providers. These partners handle specific technical elements as outlined below:
The free tier of the App displays banner ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may utilize device advertising identifiers (such as IDFA or Android Advertising ID) to serve and personalize relevant advertisements. No text, pill lists, or logging parameters typed into PillCheck are shared with AdMob.
If you choose to purchase the "Premium Lifetime Unlock" to eliminate ads and enable support for multiple user profiles, the transaction is securely handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We use RevenueCat to manage entitlement provisioning. During validation, an anonymous technical identifier verifies your checkout state. Your personal health scheduling details are never exposed to RevenueCat.
Because your scheduling data sits solely within local app containers, deleting the App will permanently wipe all local history, configurations, and profiles instantly. The developer cannot retrieve lost schedules or data backups since we never touch your information.
Not a Medical Device: PillCheck: Tracker & Reminder is designed purely as an informational logging tool and schedule organizer. It is not an automated medical device, clinical diagnostic aid, or replacement for licensed professional healthcare oversight.
System Limitations: Notification delivery and widget updates rely on operating system background processes (iOS and Android). System alerts may fail due to power-saving settings, battery optimizations, or operating system upgrades. The App is provided "as is."
User Accountability: Users must not rely solely on this App to manage critical life-dependent medication routines. Always check official prescription labels and verify your schedule manually to prevent dosage errors or omissions.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to match evolving platform standards. Because we maintain zero user databases or contact emails, we recommend checking this page periodically within the app framework for any updates.
